There’s often a huge gap between the goals set out in your media or retail financial product distribution business case and the competing visions of what the final offering might actually look like or how it will function in the real world.
The solution? Enter the prototype.
By building a “stubbed” interface (i.e. it’s non-transactional or unconnected), all of the business stakeholders in your new project can oversee a project that evolves iteratively. Together, you will get involved with the design, and you’ll experiment with an actual front-end before work on the main project even starts.
Our prototypes are better than any business requirements document you have ever written: you can press the buttons, follow a specific journey, work out how to greet your users and customers, change the look-and-feel and get such a good grasp of the way your proposition will look that you will wonder how you ever worked without a prototype.
Our basic service offers a simple prototype, built using our very effective Airportal® design method. You gain access to the basic prototype the day you start the prototype service. We undertake to make as many changes to that prototype as you wish, every day, until it’s right and you can show the prototype to your wider stakeholder and customer audiences. Simple. And surprisingly effective.
We believe natural language is unfit for the purpose of writing or signing-off design documents (like functional specifications or business requirements). Would you, for example, sanction a $30m building design without first demanding to see a scale prototype? The same logic is true of a large programme if IT development, like a comparison website or fund platform.
Our Zagreb-based software engineering team will iteratively create a stubbed prototype for your business stakeholders to approve. Over a 3 to 6 months period, we will help you get your front-end design exactly as it should look when delivered for real. Buttons to press, content to see and accurate navigational routes will all be tested in a private, secure environment.
We offer front-end to back-end design.
There’s no need to even involve the IT department: everything is delivered to you via a secure internet connection that doesn’t touch your internal systems.
Once you’ve signed off the front-end, there’s the option of a structured usability programme with a pilot group of customers. And after that, you can simply hand the prototype to your IT suppliers, technical architects, the IT director or our Flowbox nearshore software engineering team to scale up and build the real thing.
