Tomáš Rendla, CEO and co-owner of FLOWBOX, accepted the prestigious 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Central Bohemia Region at a gala ceremony in Kolín today. This significant recognition was presented by the Governor of the Central Bohemia Region for contributions to innovation and sustainability. FLOWBOX, a pioneer in intelligent energy consumption management, confirms its key role not only regionally but also at national and international levels.
"This award belongs to the entire FLOWBOX team, especially Petr Vaněk and Tomáš Macák, who were there at the beginning of this technology and successfully brought it into practice," says Tomáš Rendla. "Our technology helps companies, cities, and municipalities achieve significant energy savings, not only reducing costs but also contributing to a lower carbon footprint. I'm pleased that we're helping improve quality of life not just in the Central Bohemia Region, but far beyond its borders."
FLOWBOX, which originated in 2012 from Petr Vaněk's idea to digitize home technologies, is now among the technological leaders in energy management. The company focuses on innovative control of energy consumption, production, and storage, process automation, and emissions reduction. Their solutions enable businesses and public institutions to optimize operations and achieve up to 50% savings in energy costs.
