Purpose of the CTO role

• Define and execute technology strategy of the company and oversee all technical aspects of its execution
• Translate business needs into technological solutions to build a global and scalable product
• Manage three functional teams:
  1. Developers
  2. Technical support
  3. Internal delivery and delivery through partners
• Attract top tech talent
• Act as a key member of the executive team
• Set and manage internal policies, standards and regulations and ensure compliance
• Manage vendor relations
• Actively represent company with stakeholders, promote its technological leadership
• Support international expansion
• Ensuring software quality and security, including monitoring platform performance and scalability

About you

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate technical team
• Previous senior 3 years of experience in leading a technology team, either as a senior manager or ideally as a CTO. International experience is a big advantage
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
• Active and practical approach with can do attitude
• Drive to lead, improve and change things
• Understanding of budgeting and delivery economics
• Fluent English
• Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct technological analysis and research
• Deep knowledge of software development, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity. Experience in energy is a big plus but not a key requirement
• Hand on experience with cloud services, IoT and automation
• Strong understanding of product development life cycle and methodologies
• You are able to strategically plan and manage long-term technology goals
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills both in Czech and English

What will you do?

• Recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, preparing payroll processing documents, managing labour relations; training and development, remuneration, performance reviews
• You will partner with managers not only in recruiting new colleagues to their teams, but also in managing their teams in day-to-day situations
• Promote the company culture at Flowbox
• Come up with ideas for well-being activities and co-implement them
• Ensure internal communication
• Continuously improve

What kind of knowledge and competences do you need?

• Czech or Slovak at native speaker level
• English at least at B2 level
• MS office, Outlook, Teams

What previous experience do you need?

• A love of the HR field is a must :)
• At least 3 years in the HR field
• Min 1 year in a similar position - HR Manager
• Covering the entire employee lifecycle

About the Delivery manager:

  Purpose of the role

• To manage a team of solution architects and subject matter experts.
• To help to bring a technologically advanced solution to the market.

  Main responsibilities

• Coordination and ownership of the delivery projects
• Management of the delivery team (project management)
• Optimization of purchasing and sourcing
• Financial evaluation of delivery projects & budget ownership
• Close cooperation with the Sales Team
• Development and management of strategic partnership network to scale delivery
• Sharing best practices with the rest of the team
• Close cooperation with the Engineering team to continuously improve the product

About you

  Education

  Experience

• At least 3 years of experience on similar management role
• Proven track record in partnership development and management
• Previous experience in project management
• Experience in delivery of SW Products is preferable

  Knowledge

• The following would be advantage:
• Fundamental knowledge of standard communication protocols
• Fundamental knowledge and understanding of IP networks
• Fundamental knowledge of the LINUX OS
• Previous experience in energy and/or real estate sectors
• Driver license class B
• English min on B2 proficiency level
• Czech on native proficiency level
