As part of the conference Digitalization of SME Jihlava 2025, we invite you to an expert lecture by our colleague František Adamec, which will focus on the automation of energy management in industrial production. You will learn how smart systems can help companies optimize energy consumption, reduce operating costs and ensure energy stability of production processes.
When and where?
Date: 27 March 2025
Time: 09:00 - 15:30
Place: polytechnic college Jihlava, Tolstého 1556, Jihlava
What will the lecture be about?
František Adamec, Business Development Manager at FLOWBOX, will share his experience on how energy consumption and energy costs can be optimized through the automation of energy flows in industrial production. We will focus on:
- Autonomous consumption management using residual and necessary technologies
- Opportunities to optimize energy costs beyond fundamental consumer efficiency
- Practical use cases from industrial practice We will look at the most interesting examples of our solutions
Among others, we will discuss the following practical examples of autonomous energy management:
- Microgrid control - smart management of the external energy supply system and own generation, ensuring energy resilience and optimal resource utilisation.
- Local storage options - efficient storage of surplus energy from own generation or cheap energy from suppliers in battery systems or other storage options.
- Local flexibility options - deferring consumption will help peak shaving and often means being able to reduce reserved capacity.
- Flexibility of energy consumption - actively adjusting consumption based on current energy market prices, working with flexibility aggregators and better integration of renewables into generation processe
Why should you not miss out?
In times of rising energy prices and the emphasis on sustainability, the perfect use of energy resources is crucial for industrial companies. Through automation and smart management, every business can gain a competitive advantage, sustainably reduce its operating costs and contribute to greener production.
