FLOWBOX in AGC
Implementation of the FLOWBOX EMOS solution at the AGC factory proceeded from September 2022 to September 2023. Even after the completion of the initial project's scope, the FLOWBOX system is being modularly expanded and improved in an agile way. The primary goal of the project was to replace the existing energy management system along with the associated hardware and provide a user-friendly yet comprehensive energy data management tool that enables real-time measurement, analysis and reporting.
How does FLOWBOX help in AGC?
- LDS monitoring and reporting on Energy Market Operators
- Clear visualization of consumption for dozens of internal users
- Provision of billing data to ERP systems
- KPI tracking per product and batch
- Digitization and meeting Industry 4.0 targets
"With the FLOWBOX platform, we have full control over energy management and are able to achieve our efficiency goals." Says Milan Maxim, Technical Manager AGC
Examples of FLOWBOX features used at AGC:
FLOWBOX enables a comprehensive monitoring and autonomous control of power consumption in real time and with respect to the reserved capacity. As a result, the reserved capacity is optimally utilized and excess consumption is avoided.
AGC uses the comprehensive reporting tool within FLOWBOX not only for internal needs within the group but also for reporting towards the energy market operators. At the same time, the system administrator is able to easily manage access rights for an unlimited number of AGC stakeholders.
The project was implemented in cooperation with E.ON as part of a wider international cooperation between E.ON and AGC.
