About Valeo
The Valeo production plant in Podbořany, formerly the German brand FTE, was integrated into the Valeo Group in 2017. The plant specialises in the manufacture of components for brake and clutch hydraulic systems, including central clutch switches, clutch master cylinders and brake boosters. The production technology includes machining and assembly of these components. Since 2014, there has been a research and development department that focuses on long-term testing of hydraulic systems. The plant is part of the Powertrain Systems division.
